What are Proper Job Clubs?

Are you stuck at home with parents pushing you to find a job, but feeling like you’re banging your head against a brick wall at the moment?

Are you working somewhere just to keep the student debt from spiraling completely out of control?

Then Proper Job Clubs are for you.

Proper Job Clubs are a way of young people coming together to share their experiences, information and guidance about getting a job in the toughest job market in a generation.

All that is needed is to fix a time, date and location to meet up, and then get on with the job of finding people to come along to their local Club.

A member of the Club then takes a turn in running the meeting, to help them build their own skills, experience and confidence at the same time as picking up information, advice and guidance about getting their first ‘proper’ job.

The Clubs are being facilitated by Internocracy, the internships organisation, but the idea is that young job seekers themselves take ownership of the clubs and run them with a minimal amount of guidance from Internocracy.
